Covid-19 Making A Comeback?

Earlier today, an announcement was made that stated Victoria will be undergoing a stage 4 lockdown that will go for 5 days. The hotel cases have spread and we are now at a total of 23 known cases, which is 10 more than yesterday. The announcement of this shocking news was meant to happen at 11pm tonight, however, it was made in the early afternoon.

The lockdown is to include minor reasons to leave your home. You are able to get groceries, go to work and exercise, but exercise will be restricted to an hour. However, the Australian Open is going forward and is still happening at this point. There will be a definite amount of backlash at this decision.

There will also be the reintroduction of the five-kilometre radius rule, stating that nobody is able to travel further than five kilometres from their home. The lockdown will happen on valentines day, which is on Sunday, and will surely ruin the special day for the happy couples out there.
